AerialScience.com has been designing antennas since 1993. We have built and tested just about every type of VHF/UHF antenna design. We have worked with the 2.4GHz spread spectrum microwave technology since 1996. In 1999 we achieved a major breakthrough in dipole design. Dipole efficiency is enhanced at least two-fold. Initially intended for the ISM 2.4GHz spectrum, the plate dipole technology - patents granted and pending - has been successfully applied to our other designs for HF/VHF/UHF, satellite & microwave frequency antennas. We are constantly developing and testing plate dipole designs for other frequencies.

The VHF/UHF New Force antenna is available. It deserves a special mention. It is smaller and has higher gain across a broader frequency range than any other TV antenna and can be amplified for the worst receptions areas.
The Force Antenna has been independently tested. To emulate the performance of our Force VHF/UHF TV antenna would require up to five separate yagi antennas.

The New Force VHF/UHF TV antenna is the best all-round TV antenna available. Like all the plate dipole antennas, it is small, strong, and performs extremely well.
Finally, we do a lot of development work. If you need dipole and antenna designs then you should probably ask us. So far we have been surprised with the results we have managed to achieve using plate dipole technology.

A major product line is the 2.4 - 2.7GHz spread spectrum range. We have developed a range of antennas which have been thoroughly tested in real world conditions. Key products are the 10dB Omni, the 16dB 120º Sectorial and the 23dB Merlin solid dish. We have successfully tested links up to 25 kms without an amplifier. We have not tested any longer links.
The photograph to the right shows the transmission tower at Newlands in Wellington, New Zealand. You can see the Merlin 495mm solid dish compared to an old technology antenna three times the size. In the background there are two AerialScience 22dB wire antennae.
